PERSISTENT SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE LAST 6 TO 8 HOURS HAVE PRODUCED LOCAL RAINFALL TOTALS IN EXCESS OF 1 INCH. THIS HAS ALLOWED THE GROUND TO BECOME SATURATED IN SOME SMALL STREAM BASINS ESPECIALLY WEST OF THE OKANOGAN VALLEY. MORE LIGHT RAIN IS EXPECTED OVERNIGHT TONIGHT AND INTO WEDNESDAY MORNING.
